Enspiral Forge Handbook

Enspiral Forge is an Enspiral Node  focused on doing and shipping. It was called into being at the Open Space near Wellington on 31 January 2026.

This is an experiment in supercharging the doing and coaching energy that lies semi-dormant in Enspiral.

How this handbook works

This handbook is organised in three sections.

Agreements are formal policies that require a significant decision to modify (see the Enspiral Decisions Agreement ). We automatically inherit all Enspiral agreements  unless we explicitly override them here.

The Intention section (Purpose and Strategy) is a special kind of agreement that clarifies what we are trying to achieve and how we plan to get there.

Guidelines can be edited by anyone in the community using an advice process (talk to people affected by your edits and listen to their point of view). Think of them as a wiki where you talk to people before changing but don’t require a formal process to edit.

Node Hosts

Each Enspiral node requires at least two designated hosts responsible for communicating with the Foundation Board and the broader network. Forge’s node hosts are:
